BBC Skillswise

Whilst searching around for a new English resource to offer you this week I actually ended up returning to the BBC Skillswise site. I have used parts of it before but never looked at it in its entirety.

I'm glad I returned because the links contained on the Skillswise home page lead to many useful resources if you are looking to improve your English. I particularly like the tabbed section that covers grammar, spelling, reading listening, writing and vocabulary.

Most of the tabs are linked to exercises, fact sheets and quizzes. This makes BBC Skillswise an extremely useful and compact English learning resource.

Mike Rose
I have lived in Thailand since I retired from teaching in the UK in January 2008. Home is a bungalow about 2km from the Gulf of Thailand and 8km south of the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan. I am one of the few foreigners that live in this area. I am a keen birder and photographer although I have a lot to learn about both subjects! I also enjoy blogging and visiting temples and other cultural and wildlife sites in the country. I am trying to learn the Thai language, but I think you could say that it remains a work in progress.
