Simple Word Game to Develop Vocabulary.

Here is a simple word game you might enjoy playing to develop your English vocabulary. Take a word lets say with five letters although it doesn't matter, start with shorter words if you like. When you have a word like "snake" for example just change one letter to make a new word or you can rearrange the letters you already have in order to do this if you wish.

Example using snake:

sneak-peaks-speak-spark etc etc

So for a bit of fun lets start a game on this post using method number one using a five letter word.

Her is your starter: "Start"

Just add a comment with a new words and lets see how many we can get.

PS make sure you read the other comments before you submit a word!

Mike Rose
I have lived in Thailand since I retired from teaching in the UK in January 2008. Home is a bungalow about 2km from the Gulf of Thailand and 8km south of the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan. I am one of the few foreigners that live in this area. I am a keen birder and photographer although I have a lot to learn about both subjects! I also enjoy blogging and visiting temples and other cultural and wildlife sites in the country. I am trying to learn the Thai language, but I think you could say that it remains a work in progress.
