Happy New Year from TEFL in Thailand.

Firstly can I wish my readers a Happy New Year and offer my thanks for your contributions and support in getting the project (blog) off the ground.

Although this blog has only been running a couple of months Google has given it a nice shiny page rank 1, well that’s a good start and hopefully during the coming year we will see that increase to my target of PR4. Along the way I also hope to make it an even better resource for teachers and learners of English as a foreign or second language.

Anyway enough of that, lets play a little game today, well it is New Year, or at least it is in Thailand, however as I write this article some people in the USA will be counting down to their New Year. I bet Times Square is buzzing!

So here we go, its easy really, just pair up words from this list, that have the same meaning:

delicious, disgusting, revolting, beautiful, healthy, very, ill, well, pretty, terrible, tasty, delighted, happy, miserable, sad, sick, extremely, awful.

You should end up with nine pairs.

Enjoy the holiday.
