Right, Write, Wright, and Rite.

Today here is another short post on some more homophones common in the English Language.

All are spelt differently and convey a different meaning:

Right: correct or proper and the opposite of left.

Rite: a ceremonial act.

Wright: an artisan e.g wheelwright.

Write: to compose letters and words, create sentences.

Here is a short paragraph using these homophones.

Before he became a wheelwright he had to complete certain rites. One such rite involved writing about his rights as an artisan, as he was right handed he held the pen in his right hand.

    Short, sweet n concise, Mike.

I onced tried to explain to a lady from Surinam the diff between “know” n “no”. Since then it’s a standing joke with “hey, I no u from somewhere, don’t I ?”. We always broke out into laughter after that silly punch line.

I think I read that right. What I need explaining is the difference between to and too. Looked on the internet but still didn’t understand.
